Prof. Rongrong Cui

Prof. Rongrong Cui , Ph.D. Supervisor, is a Chang Jiang Scholar Chair Professor appointed by the Ministry of Education of China. He serves as the Dean of the School of Fashion Design at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Director of the Key Cultivation Base for Philosophy and Social Sciences in Zhejiang Province, Chairman of the Council of China National Silk Museum, and Director of the China Fashion Art Museum. Additionally, he holds the position of Deputy Director of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Clothing Research and Silk (CSCD). He is a member of the Fashion Design Art Committee of the China Artists Association and President of the Ethnic Costume Research Branch of the Chinese Ethnology Society. His primary research focuses on fashion art design and social innovation.
He has led one Major Project of Philosophy and Social Sciences Research supported by the Ministry of Education, as well as two Key Projects of the National Social Science Fund in Arts. With over 20 monographs and more than 60 academic papers to his name, he has received two Second Prizes for Outstanding Research Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences from the Ministry of Education, one Nomination Award for the Chinese Outstanding Publications Award, and one Chinese Outstanding Publications Award in the Audio-Visual, Electronic, and Game Publications category.
